I don’t write fiction, but that’s not going to stop me from taking advantage of a good opportunity to share my message and teachings. Amazon’s new rules of pre-sales have been lengthened to a year. Even better, Amazon rewards authors for promoting their books and advertising them on Amazon.com!
This is why I want to get the word out about how important it is to begin your book promotion while you write your book. If it’s already written, you should begin your book promotion now if you want to sell your book.
Many authors want to make money from their books, but they only give their books hobby attention. Meaning that they take the time to write them, but not spend time learning how to sell them. Without knowledge and a plan, an income will not be realized.

Before you can develop a plan you need a goal. It’s important that your message and writing is more important to you than earning an income. Inspiration to write brings value to your books. Yet you must desire to make money from writing books if you want to use your message or story to make money.
If you’re in doubt, you need to make a decision and a declaration because you won’t take the time to create a plan and work it. The reason I’m writing this post is because so many authors are confused about how book incomes are made. Some believe that if they write a book, readers will come, but that’s not how it works.
